I would like to update my Mac to OS Catalina, but I am still waiting for an update for Aurora 2019. As you said 'Aurora HDR 2019 is not yet compatible with MacOS Catalina. We are working on an update for support which should be released by the end of the year.' And since its release, Aurora HDR (2019) has received compatibility updates for macOS Catalina and Big Sur. We do ship new products / versions every 12-24 months. And in time, older versions (like Aurora HDR 2018) become legacy apps and do not receive any further updates. But whether to upgrade to the newer versions is always up to you.
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky seen predominantly in the high latitudes.
